Description

EDYZOLID-600 Tablets is used for:

• Treatment of certain serious bacterial infections
• Certain pneumonia and respiratory tract infections
• Complicated skin and soft-tissue infections
• Infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria
• Certain infections caused by resistant bacteria, as prescribed

How It Works

Linezolid is an oxazolidinone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, preventing susceptible bacteria from growing and multiplying.

Dosage

• Take only as prescribed by the physician.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Complete the full prescribed course, even if symptoms improve.
• Do not skip doses or discontinue treatment without medical advice.

Note

• Linezolid should be used only for susceptible bacterial infections and does not treat viral infections.
• Inform your doctor about antidepressants, other medicines, or supplements you are taking because of potential drug interactions.
• Prolonged treatment may require monitoring of blood counts and other parameters.
• Seek medical attention for severe diarrhea, unusual bruising, vision changes, or persistent numbness/tingling.
• Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place.
