Description

ITROHEM-200 Capsules is used for:

• Treatment of certain fungal infections
• Fungal infections of the skin and nails
• Oral fungal infections
• Vaginal fungal infections
• Certain systemic fungal infections
• Other susceptible fungal infections as prescribed

How It Works

Itraconazole is an antifungal medicine that inhibits ergosterol production, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This weakens the fungal cell membrane and helps stop fungal growth.

Dosage

• Take only as directed by the physician.
• Swallow the capsule whole with water.
• Take with food if advised, depending on the formulation.
• Complete the prescribed course even if symptoms improve.
• Do not change the dose or duration without medical advice.

Note

• May cause nausea, abdominal discomfort, headache, or dizziness.
• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease or heart failure.
• Itraconazole can interact with many medicines; disclose all medicines and supplements you take.
• Seek medical attention for yellowing of the skin/eyes, dark urine, severe rash, breathing difficulty, or unusual swelling.
• Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place.
