NITOVOX-500 Tablets is used for:

• Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections
• Respiratory tract infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Certain skin and soft tissue infections
• Sinus and other bacterial infections
• Other infections caused by levofloxacin-sensitive bacteria

How It Works

Levofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial enzymes required for DNA replication and repair, thereby stopping the growth of susceptible bacteria.

Dosage

• Take only as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
• Swallow the tablet with sufficient water.
• Follow the prescribed dosing schedule.
• Complete the full course of treatment.

Note

• This medicine is intended for bacterial infections and does not treat viral infections such as common cold or flu.
• Avoid taking antacids or supplements containing calcium, magnesium, aluminium, iron, or zinc close to the dose unless advised otherwise.
• Possible side effects include nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, or headache.
• Inform your doctor about any history of tendon disorders, seizures, kidney problems, or heart rhythm problems.
• Seek medical attention for severe allergic reactions, persistent diarrhea, or tendon pain/swelling.
