Description

EDYCET-AM Tablets are used for:

• Relief from productive cough associated with mucus
• Helps loosen and clear thick mucus from the respiratory tract
• Relief from allergic symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose
• Relief from nasal and throat irritation associated with allergies
• Symptomatic relief of respiratory conditions accompanied by mucus and allergy symptoms

How It Works

EDYCET-AM combines Levocetirizine and Ambroxol to help control allergic symptoms and loosen mucus.

• Levocetirizine: An antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine and helps relieve sneezing, runny nose, itching, and other allergy symptoms.
• Ambroxol: A mucolytic that helps thin and loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough up and clear from the respiratory tract.

Dosage

• Take EDYCET-AM Tablets as directed by your healthcare professional.
• It may be taken with or without food, or as prescribed.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Drink adequate fluids unless your doctor has advised otherwise.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Note

• Levocetirizine may cause drowsiness or tiredness; avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
• Avoid alcohol as it may increase drowsiness.
• Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems or any other medical condition.
• Tell your doctor about all medicines and supplements you are taking.
• Consult your healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Seek medical advice if cough persists, worsens, or is accompanied by breathing difficulty, high fever, or blood in the sputum.
