Description

EDYFINE-250 Tablets are used for:

• Treatment of certain fungal infections
• Fungal infections of the skin and nails
• Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
• Ringworm (tinea corporis)
• Jock itch (tinea cruris)
• Fungal nail infections (onychomycosis), when prescribed

How It Works

Terbinafine Hydrochloride 250 mg is an antifungal medicine that inhibits an enzyme required for fungal cell membrane formation. This disrupts the fungal cell membrane and helps eliminate susceptible fungal infections.

Dosage

• Take only as directed by the physician.
• May be taken with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Complete the prescribed course, even if symptoms improve earlier.
• Do not stop or extend treatment without medical advice.

Note

• Terbinafine may cause nausea, stomach upset, headache, or changes in taste.
• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease or a history of liver problems.
• Seek medical advice if you develop persistent nausea, loss of appetite, dark urine, yellowing of the skin/eyes, or unusual tiredness.
• Inform your doctor about all medicines and supplements you are taking.
• Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place.
