NITOFIX-50 Dry Syrup is used for:

• Treatment of certain bacterial infections
• Respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria
• Ear, nose, and throat bacterial infections
• Certain urinary tract infections
• Certain skin and soft-tissue infections
• Other susceptible bacterial infections when prescribed

How It Works

Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by interfering with bacterial cell-wall formation, helping to stop the growth and multiplication of susceptible bacteria.

Dosage

• Use only as prescribed by a doctor.
• The dose is based on the child’s age, weight, infection, and medical condition.
• Prepare the dry syrup exactly as directed on the label.
• Shake well before each use.
• Measure the prescribed dose using a suitable measuring device.
• Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve.
