ESOFIB-40 Injection is used for:

• Treatment of acidity and excessive stomach acid
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) when intravenous therapy is appropriate
• Peptic and gastric ulcers
• Acid-related stomach irritation
• Short-term acid suppression when oral therapy is not suitable
• Prevention and management of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in selected hospital settings, as prescribed

How It Works

Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It reduces stomach acid production by blocking the proton pump responsible for the final stage of acid secretion in the stomach.
