How It Works

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the action of angiotensin II, a substance that causes blood vessels to narrow, thereby helping blood vessels relax and lowering blood pressure.

Dosage

• Take only as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Take it at the same time each day as advised.
• Do not stop treatment suddenly without medical advice.
