Description

DIZOPAN Injection is used for:

• Treatment of acidity and excessive stomach acid
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) when injection is appropriate
• Peptic and gastric ulcers
• Acid-related stomach irritation
• Conditions requiring short-term acid suppression when oral therapy is not suitable
• Prevention and management of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in selected hospital settings, as prescribed

How It Works

Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the proton pump responsible for the final step of acid secretion in the stomach.

Dosage

• Administer only by a qualified healthcare professional.
• The dose and duration depend on the patient’s condition and medical advice.
• It is generally given intravenously when oral administration is not appropriate.
• Switch to oral therapy when clinically suitable, as advised by the doctor.
