EDYCORT-6 Tablets are used for:

• Management of inflammatory conditions
• Allergic and hypersensitivity conditions
• Certain autoimmune disorders
• Inflammatory conditions affecting joints, skin, or other tissues
• Conditions requiring corticosteroid therapy, as prescribed by a physician

How It Works

Deflazacort 6 mg is a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation and suppress excessive immune system activity. It works by decreasing the production of substances involved in inflammation and allergic reactions.

Dosage

• Take only as directed by the physician.
• Take with or after food if advised to reduce stomach discomfort.
• Swallow the tablet with water.
• Do not change the dose or stop treatment suddenly without medical advice, particularly after prolonged use.

• Deflazacort should be used under medical supervision.
• Long-term use may affect immunity, blood sugar, blood pressure, bones, and adrenal function.
• Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, infections, osteoporosis, stomach problems, or other chronic conditions.
• Avoid exposure to infections and inform your doctor if you develop signs of infection.
• Do not stop corticosteroid treatment abruptly unless instructed by your doctor.
• Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place.
