Description

ABODINE Cream is used for:

• Management of certain infected wounds and skin lesions
• Support in wound healing and tissue protection
• Prevention and control of microbial contamination in susceptible wounds
• Management of wounds with local infection, as prescribed
• Protection of damaged skin and wound surfaces

How It Works

ABODINE combines an antiseptic, antibacterial/antiprotozoal agent, and a protective wound-healing component.

• Povidone Iodine 50 mg: Releases iodine that acts against a broad range of microorganisms and helps reduce microbial contamination.
• Metronidazole 10 mg: Acts against susceptible anaerobic bacteria and certain protozoal organisms.
• Sucralfate 70 mg: Forms a protective layer over damaged tissue and supports the local healing environment.

Dosage

• Apply only as directed by the physician.
• Clean the affected area gently before application, if advised.
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed.
• Wash hands before and after application.
• Do not use more frequently or for longer than recommended.

Note

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes.
• Do not use if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients.
• Inform your doctor if you have thyroid disorders or are using other iodine-containing products.
• Seek medical advice if the wound becomes increasingly painful, swollen, red, or produces excessive discharge.
• Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place.
