Description

DROCEPT-DM Tablets are used for:

• Relief from abdominal pain associated with smooth muscle spasms
• Relief from painful menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea)
• Management of abdominal cramps and spasms
• Relief from pain associated with gastrointestinal spasms
• Reduction of pain and discomfort caused by muscle spasms

How It Works

DROCEPT-DM combines Drotaverine and Mefenamic Acid to relieve muscle spasms and associated pain.

• Drotaverine: An antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscles and helps relieve spasms and cramping.
• Mefenamic Acid: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces the production of substances responsible for pain and inflammation.

Dosage

• Take DROCEPT-DM Tablets as directed by your healthcare professional.
• It is generally taken with or after food to reduce stomach irritation.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment.

Note

• Use only under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
• Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, kidney or liver problems, asthma, or heart disease.
• Avoid taking other NSAID painkillers simultaneously unless advised by your doctor.
• Mefenamic acid may cause stomach irritation; seek medical attention for severe abdominal pain, black stools, or vomiting blood.
• Consult your healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Avoid alcohol if advised by your healthcare professional, as it may increase the risk of stomach irritation.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
