Description

EDYFER-XT Tablets are used for:

• Prevention and management of iron deficiency
• Iron deficiency anaemia
• Folic acid deficiency
• Nutritional supplementation during increased nutritional requirements
• Support for red blood cell formation
• Support for healthy haemoglobin levels
• Zinc supplementation and nutritional support

How It Works

EDYFER-XT combines iron, folic acid, and zinc to support haemoglobin formation, red blood cell production, and overall nutritional health.

• Ferrous Ascorbate 100 mg: Provides iron required for haemoglobin formation and oxygen transport. Ascorbate helps improve iron absorption.
• Folic Acid 1.5 mg: Supports DNA synthesis, cell division, and normal red blood cell formation.
• Zinc 22.5 mg: Supports immune function, enzyme activity, tissue growth, and overall nutritional health.

Dosage

• Take as directed by the physician.
• Preferably take with or after food if advised.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose unless prescribed.
• Continue treatment for the duration recommended by your physician.

Note

• Iron supplements may cause dark-coloured stools, constipation, nausea, or stomach discomfort.
• Keep iron-containing medicines away from children, as accidental overdose can be dangerous.
• Inform your doctor if you have iron overload disorders or other medical conditions.
• Certain medicines and calcium-containing products may interfere with iron absorption; maintain the advised time gap.
• Avoid taking additional iron or folic acid supplements unless recommended by your doctor.
• Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding according to medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place.
