Description

EDYKET-PLUS Cream is used for:

• Certain mixed fungal and bacterial skin infections
• Skin infections associated with inflammation, redness, and itching
• Superficial fungal infections with suspected bacterial involvement, when prescribed
• Management of susceptible microbial skin infections under medical supervision

How It Works

EDYKET-PLUS combines antifungal, antibacterial, corticosteroid, and antimicrobial components to help manage certain infected and inflamed skin conditions.

• Ketoconazole 20 mg: An antifungal agent that inhibits the growth of susceptible fungi.
• Gentamicin Sulphate 1 mg: An antibiotic that helps control susceptible bacterial infections.
• Clobetasol Propionate 0.5 mg: A potent corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, redness, and itching.
• Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline 10 mg: Provides antimicrobial activity against certain susceptible microorganisms.

Dosage

• Apply only as directed by the physician.
• Clean and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer to the affected skin as prescribed.
• Wash hands before and after application unless the hands are the treated area.
• Do not use for longer than the prescribed duration.

• For external use only.
• Clobetasol is a potent corticosteroid and should be used strictly under medical supervision.
• Avoid applying to the face, groin, skin folds, or large areas unless specifically prescribed.
• Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning and may mask or worsen an infection.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.
• Do not use for untreated viral skin infections unless advised by a physician.
• Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, worsening infection, or an allergic reaction occurs.
• Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place.
