EDYRON Drops are used for:

• Prevention and relief of nausea and vomiting
• Nausea and vomiting associated with certain medical treatments
• Prevention of nausea and vomiting after surgery, when prescribed
• Supportive management of nausea and vomiting due to other conditions, as directed by a physician

How It Works

Ondansetron 2 mg is an antiemetic medicine that helps prevent nausea and vomiting by blocking 5-HT3 (serotonin) receptors involved in the vomiting reflex.

Dosage

• Use only as directed by the physician.
• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Measure the prescribed dose using the supplied dropper.
• The dose depends on the child’s age, weight, and medical condition.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

• Use in infants and children only under medical supervision.
• Possible side effects include headache, constipation, or dizziness.
• Inform your doctor if the patient has a heart rhythm problem or liver disease.
• Tell your doctor about medicines being taken, particularly those that may affect heart rhythm.
• Seek medical attention for fainting, unusual heartbeat, or severe allergic symptoms.
