Description

FUROHEM-250 Tablets is used for:

• Treatment of certain bacterial infections
• Respiratory tract infections
• Ear, nose, and throat infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Skin and soft-tissue infections
• Other susceptible bacterial infections as prescribed

How It Works

Cefuroxime Axetil is a cephalosporin antibiotic that interferes with bacterial cell-wall formation, helping stop the growth and multiplication of susceptible bacteria.

Dosage

• Take only as prescribed by the physician.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Take after food if advised to improve absorption.
• Complete the full prescribed course, even if symptoms improve.
• Do not skip doses or stop treatment without medical advice.

• This medicine treats bacterial infections and does not work against viral infections such as common cold or flu.
• May cause nausea, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, or headache.
