GLYZEPT-G2 Bilayered Tablets is used for:

• Management of Type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Helps control elevated blood glucose levels
• Supports blood sugar control along with diet and exercise
• Improves insulin sensitivity and glucose utilization
• Helps maintain glycemic control as prescribed

How It Works

• Metformin SR reduces glucose production by the liver and improves the body’s sensitivity to insulin, helping lower blood glucose levels.
• Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to release insulin, helping increase glucose uptake and reduce blood glucose levels.

Dosage

• Take only as directed by the physician.
• Swallow the bilayered tablet whole with water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the sustained-release component.
• Take with meals as advised by your doctor.
• Monitor blood glucose regularly as recommended.

Note

• May cause nausea, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, or headache.
• Glimepiride may cause low blood sugar (hypoglycemia); symptoms can include sweating, shakiness, hunger, dizziness, or weakness.
• Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems.
• Do not skip meals while taking this medicine unless specifically advised.
