FLUZEPT-150 Tablets is used for:

• Treatment of certain fungal infections
• Vaginal yeast infections (candidiasis)
• Oral and throat fungal infections
• Certain skin and systemic fungal infections
• Prevention or treatment of susceptible fungal infections as prescribed

How It Works

Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine that inhibits the production of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This weakens the fungal cell membrane and helps stop fungal growth.

Dosage

• Take only as directed by the physician.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• The dose and treatment duration depend on the type and severity of the fungal infection.
• Complete the prescribed course unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Note

• May cause nausea, abdominal discomfort, headache, or diarrhea.
• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney problems, or heart rhythm disorders.
• Fluconazole can interact with several medicines, so disclose all medicines and supplements you are taking.
